10th anniversary of the bike point
Come and celebrate and participate in the activities offered by the "Vélo Baie de Somme" association in Noyelles-sur-Mer train station from August 15th to 18th.
"To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the opening of the bike point," recalls François Hochstatter of "Vélo Baie de Somme", we wanted to set up cycling safety events, and to animate everything, we have planned a contest with many prizes to win. "

A bike point with values
The bike point is located at the train station of Noyelles-sur-Mer.
Ideally located, it allows visitors to reach the Baie de Somme by mixing train and bike. Activities are offered by the association "Organisport - Bike in the Bay of Somme", created in 2001 as bike tours accessible to individuals even beginners and groups. François and his team of enthusiasts accompany the hikers while sharing their knowledge of the land and their love of the region. "In accordance with the rules of safety on bicycles and in total harmony with the natural environment, our guides drive cyclists in the Baie de Somme on known hiking trails or make tailor-made outings. Our goal is to raise awareness and make accessible to all the natural and historical riches of the bay via the practice of cycling. We are also anxious to transmit the safety rules: wearing the helmet, code of the road ... "

A bike stitch that moves
As the years went by, the offer was expanded. "Today, we value rail travel by bike, our teams emphasize safety by developing educational circuits for bike learning, and we also offer participatory small mechanics workshops and transfers. The luggage transport service is now available by dedicated trailers or by us. "

On the program of this 10th anniversary:
- Guided bike tours on August 15th, 16th and 17th at 2.30 pm (reservation required)
- Free technical inspection of owners' bicycles
- cycling circuit
